TRAINERS
- Mainly faculty members from the Departments of English, College, High School, and Grade School of the Ateneo de Manila University
- Faculty members from different Ateneo and Jesuit schools in the country trained for the Advanced Communicative Language Teaching Certificate at the Institute for English Language Education, Lancaster University, UK
- Specialists from local institutions such as neighboring universities and Jesuit schools
- Guest lecturers, such as Fulbright Fellows and British Council Consultants
ARRANGEMENTS
ACELT offers to facilitate SEMINARS of varying duration for any school, group of schools or organization under the following arrangements:
- ACELT provides the expertise, designs the training program, and oversees the training with follow-up activities.
- The host school or institution provides:
- Secretariat Services (to issue invitations, recruit participants, reserve seminar venues, prepare hand-outs, organize registration procedures, etc.)
- Funding Requirements (for transportation and accommodation for ACELT trainers, seminar materials and hand-outs)
- Honoraria for ACELT staff (this can be negotiated depending on the financial capacity of the host school or institution).
ACELT also offers CONSULTANCY SERVICES on curriculum review, syllabus design, teacher training or trainer training for all members of the faculty in one school on a long term basis, etc. These services are arranged case to case on a project basis.
If there are many requests, ACELT will follow a first-come-first-served policy.
